Aunque por internet nadie lo tiene muy claro, no dice Cause that songbird singing, sino que dice Was that songbird singing?
En el librito con las letras que trae el CD lo pone así
Y en Everybody’s on the run, lo primero que dice es: You can’t fight the feeling

‘One day at a time I’m hiding from the razor blade’, clara referencia a haber dejado las drogas me parece. Se acuerdan de ‘All your dreams are made when you’re chained to the mirror and the razor blade’ de Morning Glory? En relación a la cocaína, claro. Me hizo acordar a eso.Tengo entendido que Noel dijo que no tenía sentido la letra, pero yo veo que más bien son frases sueltas entremezcladas
La música tiene un poco la tónica de TDoYaM que a su vez revive la de TIoBI que a su vez está inspirada en Dead end Street de los Kinks. Es decir, hasta The importance todo bien, porque era más bien un tributo… pero ya después es un abuso! jajaja. Me quedo con la letra.
